In your research, you will often come across a citation for an article that sounds perfect for your paper, but you have no idea where to find the article. Before you ask for it using Tipasa (our Interlibrary Loan system), try some or all of these steps:

  • Type the title of the Article into WorldCat Discovery. If you see a View Now link, click that and it should take you directly to the article in the appropriate database. (Be aware that our database links are not 100% accurate, and you may occasionally find a link that is a dud. If so, try the next step.)
  • Type in the title of the Journal into WorldCat Discovery. If you see a View Now link, click it and you will see a list of databases with that journal. Each link will include a description of the Holdings for that journal within the database, including the dates covered and sometimes the volume/issue range as well.
  • Go to the Library Page and use the A-to-Z List of Databases on the right side to select any of our databases. Once in the database, search the article title/author to find out if it is in the database.

If you cannot find your article, you can always make a request using Tipasa. If you need additional help, please let us know.
